I’m always on the lookout for new ideas to make revenues off the farm we do not yet own.  Here’ a good possibilty:  movie screenings!  clearly, it works no matter what condition your barn is in, so that’s a plus.  And, if you treat it as a BYO (no food handling or beverage sales issues!) and just have people spread out blankets, it should be very low-key.   Plus, it would be fun to start out by having screenings for movies that pertain to farm and food issues, like Dirt, the Greenhorns documentary, and others.  (No licensing fees!)
What do you think?  Would you go see a movie outdoors projected onto a screen on the side of a barn?
